Chena Mohan Bhog is one of the famous sweet in West Bengal.

Ingredients:

Chena

Khua/ Rabidi

Grated mawa/ khoya

Powdered khand/ rock sugar

Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Chena Mohan Bhog
Knead Chena till soft for 10 min.
Soft Chena is ready now.
Press lightly and give it a shape of a bowl like this.
Boil sugar and water in 1:5 ratio then add this Chena bowl and bring it to boil for 10 min. It will increase in size.
Take some Rabidi.
Apply Rabidi on the sides of the Chena balls.
Roll the sides in the grated khoya/mawa.
Now fill the bowls with Rabidi.
Finally garnish with almond and pista pieces. Chena Mohan Bhog is ready for bhog.

Notes:

Knead Chena well for 15-20 min. There should not be any cracks in Chena balls.

After removing from boiling sugar syrup, transfer it to warm milk with sugar for 5 min so that Chena balls soaks up the milk. I have skipped that process here.
