Gur Sandesh is one of the chappan bhog receipe of Lord Jagannath. I have already posted sugar version of Sandesh.

Ingredients:

Chena/ cottage cheese 1 cup

Jaggery 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Gur Sandesh
Mash Chena with your palm till soft for 6-7 min.
Chena is ready.
Now in a pan add Chena, jaggery and cardamom powder and fry on a low flame.
Once it turns like a lump and leaves the sides of the pan. Transfer it to a greased plate.
Cut into desired shape.
Gur Sandesh is ready for bhog.

Notes:

Keep the flame low while frying the chena jaggery mixture.

Adjust the sweetness as per your preference.
