Rabidi also known as Basundi is one of the chappan bhog receipe of Lord Jagannth. It is nothing but sweetened condensed milk.

Ingredients:

Whole milk 2 cups

Powdered khand 1 cup

Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Sliced almond pieces

Rabidi/ Basundi
Bring milk to boil on high flame. keep stirring occasionally.
Once it reduces to 1/2 add powdered khand.
Finally once the milk thickens and turns into light yellow colour, add cardamom powder and garnish with sliced almonds. Rabidi is ready for bhog.

Notes:

Adjust the sweetness as per your preference.

You can also garnish with any dry fruits and saffron.

Take a heavy bottomed pan, otherwise it will burn in the bottom. Keep stirring occasionally.
