Chatua pitha is a recipe from Orissa.

Ingredients:

Chatua 1 cup

Powdered khand 3/4 cup

Fennel seeds/ snauf 1 tsp

Salt a pinch

Filling

Shredded coconut 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Roasted seasame seeds 1 tsp

Jaggery 1/4 cup

Ingredients.
Boil 1 cup of water for 1 cup of Chatua, add powdered khand, salt, fennel seeds.
Once it starts boiling add Chatua.
Once it forms lump like consistency take out from the stove.
Once it is warm, knead the dough for 2-3 min, then take a portion of the dough fill the stuffing and close it.
Now fry these Pithas till golden brown on both sides.
Fried Chatua pitha is ready for bhog.
