Chenna bora / Bara is one of the chappan bhog receipe of Lord Jagannth.

Ingredients:

Chena / cottage cheese 1 cup

Powdered khand / sugar 1 cup

Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Rice flour 1/2 tsp

Whole wheat 1/2 tsp

Oil/ ghee for frying

Chena Bara/ Bora
Ingredients.
Nicely rub the Chena to make it soft for 10-15 min
To this add rice flour and wheat flour and knead again.
Soft chena is ready.
Take a portion of chena and make round balls like this.
Fry till golden brown in ghee on both sides.
Let them sit in the prepared sugar syrup for 30 min. Chena Bara is ready for bhog.

Notes:

You can use sooji instead of rice flour.

I have made it in a round shape but you can even flatten a little to give a bara shape.
