Puli or rice semiya kheer is one of the chappan bhog of Lord Jagannth.

Ingredients:

Rice flour 1/2 cup

Salt 1/2 tsp

Ghee 1 tsp

Milk 1 1/4cup

Powdered khand/Sugar 1/4 cup

Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Puli.
Ingredients.
Bring a little more than 1 cup of water to boil.Add salt and ghee. Once it starts to boil add rice flour. Let it cook for 7-8 min.

Mix with the help of a roller.
Then knead well to form a smooth batter.
Make small semiya like this by hand.
Hand made semiya is ready.
Bring milk to boil add sugar and cardamom.
Put it in the boiling milk and boil for 4-5 min.
Puli is ready.

Notes:

While boiling , add 1 tbsp of rice flour and milk paste to make it little thick but this is optional. I haven’t added here.

Adjust the sweetness as per your preference.
